Water/Sewer billing is an annual charge and is billed quarterly with a 20 day grace period.  Meters are read quarterly for excess usage billing.  It is included with the January, April, July and October bill.  Interest is calculated at the same as taxes.  If prior year’s utility charges remain unpaid by December 31st, they are subject to the same tax sale law as for taxes.

We schedule water/sewer service calls for turn on/turn off of service request, repairs, final readings, meter tests and re-read of the quarterly bill.  For mark outs – call 1-800-272-1000.

Be sure to have a final reading done when selling your property.  This form ends service in  your name and sets up service for the new owner/tenant.  If you do not know the name of the new tenant,  put the property owners name in the new billing information.  Anyone can order a final reading, including the owner, tenant, realtor or attorney.

We are pleased to present to you this year's Consumers Confidence Report.  The annual report is designed to inform you about the quality water and services we deliver to you every day.  The report highlights the monitoring for the period for one year, the Spring Lake Water Department and Sewer Utility and the Manaquan Water Supply System routinely monitor for contaminants in your drinking water according to Federal and State laws.
