Tax payments are due the first day of February, May, August and November.  There is a ten day grace period before interest occurs.  Once the account is delinquent, interest goes back to the 1st of the quarter at 8% on the first $1,500.00 and 18% on anything over $1,500.00.  If tax charges are not paid by December 31st, they are subject to Tax Sale and a Year End Penalty of 6% on properties that owe $10,000.00 including principal, interest and Water/Sewer combined.

Special Assessments are billed annually with a thirty day grace period.  Yearly interest on installments is 4%.  Once the account becomes delinquent, interest is calculated at the same rate as taxes.  Prior year charges are eligible for tax sale.  Once the Tax Sale Notice is sent, the entire loan balance is due.
