ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Spring Lake Police Department is a fully staffed, 24 hour a day / 7 day a week operation. Its mission is to provide quality, professional police protection and services through a strong, integrated relationship with the community. The policing strategy of the department is that of proactive policing through community involvement.
The Department is staffed by the following 14 full time officers:

Our fulltime force is supplemented seasonally by:
12 - 15 seasonal Class I & II, Special Officers
Our emergency communications for Police, Fire and First Aid handled by four full time and three part time dispatchers who also provide services for Spring Lake Heights pursuant to an Interlocal Shared Service Contract.
