Joseph T. Erbe Jr. has served on the Council for twelve years (1992-1995, 1999-present). This is his third year as Council President. Mr. Erbe is a member of the Finance Committee and is the Council liaison for Personnel issues. His other areas of responsibility are Insurance, PEOSHA, and Construction/Zoning/Code Enforcement.
Mr. Erbe has lived in Spring Lake for most of his life. He attended St. Catharine Grammar School, St Rose High School and received a BA in Political Science from Fordham University. He resides at 417 Morris Avenue with his wife, Mary Pat Magee Erbe, who is an attorney in Red Bank specializing in Estate and Trust law. They have three children, Anastasia, Madeleine and Joseph.
